Put your green on and head for the pot of beer at the end of the rainbow. High Heat is playing an early set on the big outdoor stage at Yee-Haw Brewing Company. This show is free and for all ages.

High Heat brings a new voice to rock 'n' roll music in Knoxville. Their sound That sound is inspired by the craftsmanship of the classic rock gods of old and blended with the modern, poignant storytelling of indie rock. The wide range of our influences leads us to write songs that intersperse blazing guitar solos and dynamic unison breakdowns with catchy choruses and meaningful lyrics. It’s controlled chaos that feels raw and genuine without sacrificing quality.

Friday Night Fun: St. Patrick's Silent Disco

When: Friday, March 15th, 7 pm
Where: Hi-Wire Brewing / 2020 Barber St. Knoxville

Grab your green clothes. It's a St. Patrick's Day party, baby!

There will be all three channels going, and this time they're gonna mix it up. They will be covering the board with all sorts of hits from various genres and the request line will be open all night. Three channels of bangers with enough space to get a little weird with it.

Music starts at 7 pm. There is limited space and headphones available. This event is open to ages 18+ unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Tickets are $10 for early bird and $15 for general admission.

If you have never experienced Silent Disco before, it's a ton of fun. Once you get in the zone and realize that 1) Nobody can hear you singing off-key at the top of your lungs and 2) It doesn't matter anyway because everyone else is singing off-key at the top of their lungs as well, all your cares fade away. It's the perfect thing to welcome the best month of the year.

Here's how it works: Three separate DJs play all sorts of music through headphones with a switcher that you control. If you're not feeling what's on one channel, you have two different ones to choose from. It's a choose-you-own-music adventure.
