Do: Classic Cookie's Annual Cookie Festival

When: Saturday, April 27th, 1pm-5pm
Where: Downtown Gazebo & Bruce St. Sevierville
 
Celebrate the 40th Birthday of Classic Cookies with an event that features all things cookies! With each cookie purchase, 20% will be donated to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Sevier County. This event is FREE admission to all guests (including dogs)! Event activities include:

Eat & Drink: Southern Tequila and Taco Festival

When: Friday, April 26th, 6 pm - 9 pm
Where: Farragut Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza / 11401 Kingston Pike, Farragut
 
This fun festival raises funds for Remote Area Medical and it's now raised over $500k for RAM. This event continues to grow and is turning into the largest annual tequila and taco festival in the country.
 
Some of the biggest names in tequila showcase their signature products and the best food in East Tennessee. Join in to taste hand-crafted tequilas, margaritas, cocktails, and beer. Enjoy the great music and eat some tacos!
 
 

Try: 27th Annual Adult Spelling Bee

When: Saturday, April 27th, 10 am - 12 pm
Where: Blount County Public Library / 508 N Cusick St. Maryville
 
Join the Blount County Public Library for a fun and friendly competition, their 27th Annual Adult Spelling Bee!
 
Register a team of two, or volunteer to spell on an existing team to help raise funds for education and literacy programming in Blount County. Team Registration is $300 for a team of two spellers. If sponsors would like to contribute but are in need of a team, the Foundation will gladly recruit two enthusiastic spellers to represent them.

Family: Pelts at the Grist Mill

Where: Norris Dam State Park - Grist Mill / Lower Clear Creek Rd. Norris
 
Meet Ranger Hailee at the Grist Mill to learn about mammals found in Tennessee.
 
You will be going over what each pelt is, facts about the species, and answering questions that you may have. It's not every day you get to experience what a fox feels like!
 
This program will be outside and there is limited seating so bring a chair if you want to sit. Parking is available at the Grist Mill and the Lenoir Museum. 
 
 

Watch & Listen: Knox Rox

When: Saturday, April 27th, 5 pm
Where: 865 Axe-Throwing / 5833 Babelay Rd. Knoxville
 
The 4th Annual Knox Rox Benefit Concert is an outdoor concert that supports the Hillcrest Healthcare Foundation and The Daily Living Center. There will be a live musical performance by Lavonda & the 865 Bandits performing your favorite 70s, 80s, and 90s hits. 2 Coaches Catering will be cooking up a storm while Knox Taps will keep the good times flowing! Let's not forget 865 AXE Throwing is on-site to keep the fun flinging! Kendra Scott will be partnering with this event again so stop and pick up some amazing KNOX ROX merch you can sport!
 
It's going to be a great time, so grab your ticket, bring a lawn chair, and come ready to enjoy an evening out!
